The Wonder Years

Times ticking.22 days to go.Im getting emotional now.Im leaving home for the first time,and just like a dulhans bidaai people are bidding their farewells but Im not crying like in the movies.
Im looking forward to the new challenge.
The time I spent at home have been the best years of my life,The Wonder Years!!!
The poeple I met,the lives Ive changed,the friendship,chivalry,love,joy pain etc billions of emotions that Ive felt are going to be left
behind until I return and reclaim them.
Im going to miss my cousin brothers growing up,going to miss my familia and all my friends.My car,Jalnidhi and all the places that we hogged like hungry pigs!!
Going to miss Mumbai and her charm despite all the pollution and untidiness.
I told Omi that when i sit on that plane,Im going to down a few glasses and just get lost in my memories.I wish I could visit every memory like in the Harry Potter series but alas!!
But alcohol helps you getting there some what,so ya Im not carrying any object of distraction on the flight.
I told people that Im coming back after 9 years which wouldnt be true cos I dont think I can stay away from home so long.
And in every new person I befriend I hope to share with them some portion of the wonder years that Ive lived so far. . .

My first blog on my new laptop,my future companion for my transitional life in England.

Ive finished watching rock on!! umpteen number of times now and finally a sense of satisfaction settles in as an unconventional movie has made it big in bollywood.Sure it was cliche,predictable but so was jaane tu.. the unsung hit flcik among the youth.Farhan Akhtar has been an inspiration,I mean the production house which made the movie Bachpan is called DCH Productions as it was Dil Chahta Hai that set our adolescent lives into motion.Dil Chahta hai literally means doing what the heart wants and me and my freinds are what you say in Hindi -Jasbaati cos that is how we take decisions in our life - with our hearts.

Now Rock on,may be Farhans first as an actor but his voice with the rockin' music of shankar ehsaan and loy is what sets this movie apart. Im in love with prachi desai and I love the part when she sings Ajeeb Daastan.

Purab,Luke and Arjun Rampal(his best movie so far) have given magikal perfomances along with the new comer Shahana Goswami who has really donned her role to perfection.

Rock On!! is for the youth,as all of Farhans movies are,its for living your dream no matter where life takes you.If you believe you shall achieve all your dreams,
Rock on!! is an exemplary movie for bollywood.It takes guts to make this kind of a movie and all the wanna bee rock fans who do not prefer hindi lyrics what can i say!!!Wannabees shalt always remain wannabees..
